For this dark Miso is a production made from the finest Beluga lentils from Austria. The lentils give it a nutty taste that slightly reminds of chestnuts. This miso is ideal to use as a bread spread and is a good companion to wild meat, stews, or vegetable stir fry's. The Beluga lentils also make it a perfect source for protein.   

This Product is produced by Wiener Miso, a Vienna based Producer of hand-fermented Miso, soy sauces, and tofu who uses only ingredients sourced locally from Austria. What especially makes Wiener Miso stand out as a producer, is their unique Miso creations that extend beyond most of the traditional kinds of miso.
