Ito Shoten is a Tamari and Miso producer nestled in Japan's Aichi Prefecture with over 200 years of history, and the Denemon Tamari Shoyu is one of their best produce. Made from only Japanese-grown soybeans and natural sea salt, slowly aged for 3 years in cedar casks, the Denemon Tamari has a thick, caramel-like, smoky, meaty, deep umami flavor that is well balanced and not overly salty. We recommend that you do not cook this special brew, just use as a dipping sauce.
