Weißmohn Miso

Ingredients: Rice, white poppy seeds, sea salt, A. Oryzae
Maturation: fermented in an earthenware pot
Fermentation period: 6 Monate

This miso has a very intense and distinctive taste. Due to its creamy, savory flavour, it can be used as a substitute for parmesan or other aged cheeses. It also has a strong walnut note, which is what makes it ideal for baking. Meanwhile, it is also suitable as a bread spreads and for seasoning all kinds of savory dishes. The white poppy seeds are cultivated directly in Austria.  

This Product is produced by Wiener Miso, a Vienna based producer of hand-fermented Miso, soy sauces, and tofu who uses only ingredients sourced locally from Austria. What especially makes Wiener Miso stand out as a producer, is their unique Miso creations that extend beyond most of the traditional kinds of miso.
