This sauce gets its unique taste from its blend of Japan's best seasonings. It contains Yuzu and Sudachi extract, high quality Seaweed from Hokkaido and Japanese Fishbrew Dashi. As such, this sauce combines all elements: salt, acid, sugar, and Umami. The complex flavour that develops as a result makes the sauce extremely versatile in a number of dishes. It can be used as a dressing for salads, as a dip sauce, or can be combined with pickled vegetables or fish. It is also a good addition to hearty dishes such as stews and soups.

This product is produced by the Japanese manufacture Yamaroku, which is located on the Island Shodoshima in the Japanese inland sea.Schon seit der Meiji ära (1868 – 1912) produziert diese Familienmanufaktur hochklassige Sojasauce. Heute ist die Brauerei ist eines der größten Vorreiter für traditionelle Sojasoßen Herstellung. Und zwar werden bei Yamaroku sogar die Fässer per Hand aus Bambusholz gefertigt, was Teil einer größeren Initiative der Brauerei ist, die traditionelle Produktion mit Holzfässern zu erhalten und an nachfolgende Generationen weiterzugeben.
